Washing instructions

FARASHA is committed to providing carefully crafted headscarves from natural, delicate fabrics. To ensure that your products look beautiful for as long as possible, we have listed some tips for you below:

  • Every detail has been applied by hand. To keep them beautiful, do not use pins or pins to attach the scarves.
  • Textiles can release dye during washing and this dye can adhere to other laundry. Therefore, always wash new clothing/accessories cold by hand for the first few times, without other items of clothing.
  • We recommend washing the scarves and abayas/kimonos by hand with a mild detergent, or having them cleaned at a professional dry cleaner.
  • Hang the scarves and abayas/kimonos out to dry immediately and then steam or iron them carefully at a low temperature.
  • Silk scarves should always be professionally cleaned at the dry cleaners.
  • FARASHA does not provide a guarantee for fallen stones or damage due to use. We also recommend using a lint clipper to preserve the cotton scarves. Cotton is a natural product that will take its own shape after wearing, just like cashmere.
  • Textiles can release dye during washing. The released dye can adhere to other laundry. Therefore, always wash new clothing cold by hand for the first few times, without other clothing. This product can stain!

Our headscarves are carefully made and require loving use and care to remain beautiful for as long as possible.
